This is a special event for children and their adults. From 4.00pm, we prepare a pancake meal together. We also enjoy making ashes out of last year’s palm crosses and branches. We share in the meal together, enjoying a final feast before the Lenten fast begins. We then have a story about Lent, and do an activity to prepare ourselves. Finally we go into the church building to receive the sign of ashes.
