Focal shelf
Today is the day to go bananas with your focal table. Easter eggs, flowers, maybe some hand-drawn decorations – they all have a place. You could even crack out the Christmas decorations and use your tinsel and flashing lights. Whatever you need to do to mark the celebration. You might like to colourfully decorate your cross or keep a lit candle there all day. Anything goes!

Risen Christ,
today is a day of pure celebration.
Life has conquered death!
Goodness has conquered evil!
Light has conquered darkness!
May these eggs be a sign for us
of the empty tomb
and the rich, sweet goodness 
of your love for us and all the world.

We are Easter people, and Alleluia is our song!

Easter is a day of new beginnings. A time to lift our eyes, our hearts and aspirations. Lay your hope before God and invite God’s blessing on you and those you love. Ask God to fill you with hope, even in times of great struggle.
